The Path Ahead
This was written after the loss of my wife, son, and leadership position.
I had to recover and find a new life. --JB
While I wondered what to do,
I sought my friends to comfort me.
They said, "Let us pull you through,"
But the work was left to Lee.
I can't let others do my job,
Or depend on their uncertainty,
What I build, none can rob,
So the work was done by Lee.
Once a dream upon my mind,
Now a plan for all to see,
A  simple path by design,
But this was built by Lee.
The path is simple, as its been,
The surprise of all but me,
For I must do the work within,
And it works... simple-Lee.
